<p>Arnel Pineda, the charismatic frontman of Journey, recently opened up about the profound impact that touring has had on him, both physically and emotionally. </p><p>After a difficult performance at Rock in Rio in September, Pineda took to Instagram, revealing his struggles and questioning whether he should continue with the band. His candid reflections shed light on the immense pressures he faces and his unwavering dedication to Journey. Despite these challenges, Pineda has decided to stay with Journey and will be touring Japan this October.</p><p>Since February, Pineda and Journey have been on a relentless tour, performing night after night across the globe. This demanding schedule left him physically drained and emotionally fatigued. </p><p>&quot;I was fatigued talaga,&quot; Pineda admitted, describing the exhaustion that accumulated over months of travel and performances. The constant movement, coupled with little opportunity for rest, took a significant toll on his health and well-being.</p><p>The Rock in Rio concert was a turning point for Pineda, where his vocal fatigue and technical issues became painfully apparent. </p><p>&quot;My voice so fatigued na rin,&quot; he confessed, highlighting how his physical state impacted his performance. As the frontman of one of America&#x27;s most iconic bands, Pineda felt the weight of stepping into Steve Perry&#x27;s legendary shoes. </p><p>&quot;I just don&#x27;t perform. I just don&#x27;t sing. I sing with my heart, with all of my soul,&quot; he said. </p><p>&quot;I&#x27;m the biggest critic of myself, you know,&quot; he continued. &quot;I would beat up myself almost to death, kasi because I made little mistakes here and there... I&#x27;ve been singing this song like for 100 times, nagkakamali pa rin ako.&quot; </p><p>Pineda&#x27;s reflections reveal the human side of a rock star&#x27;s life, often hidden behind the glamor of the stage. Nights spent traveling, arriving at hotels in the early hours, and the lack of sufficient rest contributed to his overwhelming fatigue. </p><p>&quot;Tomorrow, show na naman pala,&quot; he recounted, illustrating the endless cycle of performances that left little time for recovery.
