MANILA — The Rivermaya reunion concert was a big success. Thousands of fans flocked to the SMDC concert grounds in Parañaque City for the one-night-only show of the '90s rock band and they didn't disappoint.

Bamboo, Rico, Nathan, and Mark brought the house down and rocked their classic hits such as "Ulan," "Kung Ayaw Mo, Huwag Mo," "Hinahanap-hanap Kita" and more.

The first thirds of the show had the band singing some deep cuts and slowed things down after a series of rock-solid anthems.

Rico Blanco had a solo spot where he sang "You'll Be Safe Here."

After his solo performance, there was a bit of tension when the band's audio could not be heard. From our vantage point, it appeared that the band members could hear themselves, but there was no audio output from their instruments and vocals.

The quartet took this quick technical break to go down the stage and mingle with their fans.

They shook hands, waved to fans, and walked around the VIP section of the crowd.

When the audio went back up, the band sang a mellow version of their hit song "Bring Me Down."

Showing no signs of tiredness, Rivermaya went on and jammed to their hits "Elisi" and "Awit ng Kabataan," where they were joined on-stage by a group of drummers.

Fans lit the concert grounds with their cellphone lights when the band sang "Panahon na Naman."

There was another short audio glitch but fans didn't mind when the band sang their classic hit "214." Their hardcore fans sang along and Bamboo was on his knees while watching fireworks lit up the sky.

Rivermaya performed over 20 songs and closed the historic event with their mega-hit "Kisapmata."
