MANILA -- Korean star Sandara Park made a quick visit to the Philippines to attend some commitments. But before leaving she expressed interest in coming back and collaborate with Filipino stars.

In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News before she left Tuesday might, Park mentioned her desire to work with Kapamilya leading man Coco Martin, saying she's a huge fan and has watched all of his movies.

“I have a wish! Sana magka-project kami ni Coco Martin in the future! Sana! I really love his movies, napanood ko lahat ng movies niya! Lalo na 'yung mga romantic comedies. So sana maging leading man ko siya in the future! Sabi niya yeah! Let’s do something together, so sana maging totoo 'yun!” Park said.

Park also shared that she loves listening to OPM artists and that her ultimate idol is still Regine Velasquez-Alcasid. “Gusto ko 'yung mga bagong songs. I listen to Shanti Dope’s mga kanta pero my ultimate idol now si Ms. Regine Velasquez so I want to comeback for her concert in April!” Park said.

When asked for advice to emerging P-pop stars, she praised the talent in the industry and commended the artists who sought training in Korea to learn different genres of music. She said she was impressed by the dedication and hard work of the P-pop artists and encouraged them to continue pursuing their dreams.

Regarding the possibility of a reunion with her former K-pop group 2NE1, Park hinted that there are plans in the works, but emphasized that timing is key. Fans of the iconic girl group can look forward to potential future collaborations and projects.

Despite her busy schedule, Park stays connected with friends from her early days in the industry, particularly those she met during the reality-based talent competition Star Circle Quest. She said she values the friendships she has made throughout her career and remains grateful for the support of her colleagues and fans.
