OPM band Lily, formerly known as Callalily, is gearing up to launch the music video of its remake of the hit song "Magbalik."

The band members now include Joshua Bulot on vocals, composer Lem Belaro on drums, Aaron Ricafrente on bass, Alden Acosta on lead guitar, Nathan Reyes on rhythm guitar, and Ezra Decinal on keyboard.

Lily announced that former child actor Jiro Manio will star in the upcoming music video. The band said they personally chose Manio as they resonated with him and believed he would bring a special touch to the visual representation of "Magbalik."

“I think sobrang fitting because it's 'Magbalik' and siya nagbabalik din siya sa film industry, sa acting, so we feel like it’s symbolic and parehas kaming babalik basically,” Acosta said.

In an interview, Manio clarified that he is not yet ready to return to acting full-time. However, he expressed his interest in carefully selecting projects that speak to him, and Lily's music video was one of those projects that captured his attention.

“Ito lang po 'yung tinanggap kong project kasi sa tingin ko makakatulong po sa akin and sa mga tao na makinig sila ng 'Magbalik.' Maganda po 'yung kwento,” he said.

Lily said the new version of "Magbalik" will feature a new intro and additional lyrics, promising a fresh experience for fans. The music video is set to be released this month.
