MANILA -- Kapuso stars Sanya Lopez, Gabby Garcia, Glaiza de Castro, Nadine Samonte, Mark Bautista, Christian Bautista, Chantal Videla, Jake Vargas, Mikee Quintos and Jillian Ward were part of television history as "It's Showtime" debuted on GMA 7 on Saturday, April 6.

Before playing in the segment "Karaokids," the Kapuso stars were game in shouting "What's up, madlang people!" and "What's up, madlang Kapuso!"

The tandem of Amy Perez and Mark Bautista made it to the final round of Karaokids but failed to win the jackpot.  

On Saturday, "It's Showtime" hosts led by Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis wowed Kapamilya and Kapuso viewers with their grand opening number.

“It’s Showtime” now airs on GMA  aside from Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live,  GTV and A2Z.
