MANILA -- Veteran actress and movie icon Divina Valencia expressed her dismay over the incident involving her friend Eva Darren during the FAMAS Awards Night last Sunday. Valencia, who was seated next to Darren, was surprised when Darren wasn&#x27;t called during the awarding ceremonies.Darren was invited to present an award alongside Tirso Cruz III. But to her surprise, another person was asked to present with Cruz - young singer Sheena Palad. At first, Valencia wasn&#x27;t aware of the confusion and was completely surprised when Darren was already saying goodbye to her and another veteran actress Marissa Delgado. &quot;Nagtatawagan na, wala akong alam sa nangyayari. Tapos matagal na sabi ko, mare bakit hindi ka tinatawag. Nung ano, tumayo na siya aalis na kami. Sabi ko bakit ka aalis hindi ka pa tinatawag sabi niya ay hindi na hindi, ay parang upset.&quot; narrated Valencia. Darren left with her three grandchildren, but after a few minutes, one of the grandchildren came back to their table and handed an envelope. They requested that the envelope be returned to Renz (the PR officer of the event). Valencia handed the envelope to Renz and she saw how Renz felt when Darrenm&#x27;s invitation was returned. Valencia also dispelled claims that Darren cannot be found while the ceremonies was ongoing. &quot;Bakit hindi mo hinanap si Eva na isa sa mga presenters ba kasama ni Mr Tirso Cruz? Bakit sinabing hindi nakita? Hindi katanggap-tanggap sa amin yun, kasi andun lang ang lamesa namin eh.&quot; Valencia appealed to the president of FAMAS: &quot;Masakit para sa anak, at sa mga apo na inaasahan nila na gumastos ng ganun make up, hairdo, damit, driver, gas etcetera etcetera, dapat lang Madam Famas, ibalik mo lahat nang nagastos ni Miss Eva Darren.&quot;She added, &quot;Yung kahihiyan hindi niya na maibabalik yun, habang buhay nang kahihiyan yun.
