MANILA — Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Huening Kai emerged from beneath the stage to an uproar of cheers that filled the KSPO Dome in Seoul.
Draped in pristine white robes, the K-pop stars materialized at the end of five separate walkways. And with graceful strides, they converged at the main stage — a round oasis in the middle of a sea of fervent fans — where Yeonjun was ceremoniously crowned.

And when the lights burst forth once more, the quintet known as Tomorrow X Together quickly leaped into action, launching into a performance of their latest single “Deja Vu,” setting the tone for an evening of music and spectacle.

For this show, the group pulled out all the stops, pairing their song-and-dance numbers with visually-striking background videos, large sets and a phalanx of backup dancers to deliver a satisfying feast for the senses that ran for more than two hours.

“Sugar Rush Ride” served as an early highlight of the concert, its familiar tune infused with the enchanting sounds of traditional Korean instrumentation, performed as the boys aptly donned elegant hanboks.

The electrifying energy reached a high as the group unleashed a rock remix of “New Rules,” sung against the backdrop of a towering train set. Keeping the momentum up, they seamlessly transitioned into “LO$ER=LO♡ER,” “Ghosting,” and “Thursday's Child Has Far to Go,” each song igniting a frenzy of head-banging and fist-pumping among the crowd.

The quintet also gave unit performances, allowing the members to further showcase their distinct talents. Beomgyu, Taehyun and Huening Kai rocked it out with the angsty anthem “Quarter Life” while Yeonjun and Soobin enticed fans with their mesmerizing presentation of “The Killa (I Belong To You).”
Dressed in sleek leather ensembles, the group maintained the high-octane energy with “Puma,” “Good Boy Gone Bad” and “Growing Pain” before going into the show’s final stretch with “Dreamer,” “Deep Down,” “I’ll See You There Tomorrow,” “Magic Island,” and “Miracle.”

After the Seoul concerts, the “Act: Promise” tour will make stops across the United States and Japan. The group has yet to announce a Southeast Asian leg as of writing.
