MANILA — "Siguro, mga multo 'yung iba rito para kasing hindi totoo."

These were the words of BINI member Colet Vergara, said in jest after seeing hundreds of their fans -- the Blooms -- in an intimate meet-and-greet for their third anniversary celebration on Tuesday, June 11.

Outside, thousands more packed One Ayala Mall in Makati. In all, mall officials said some 8,000 Blooms took part in the first-ever "BINI Day," as the Nation's Girl Group marked another milestone in a year that has been full of them.

Throughout the years, BINI's fanbase has gained strength in numbers, as their Blooms ballooned after the success of viral hits such as "Pantropiko" and "Salamin, Salamin" from their "Talaarawan" EP.

Ahead of their first-ever concert later this month, BINI leader Jhoanna Robles said Tuesday's celebration has re-energized them.

"Itong mga nakaraang araw, hindi siya madali for us, hindi nagiging madali 'yung preparation for our upcoming concert kasi sabay ng mga guestings and shows namin," the group's leader said.

"Pero grabe, parang nawala 'yung pagod namin tonight, grabe maraming salamat po," she added.

Stacey Sevillejo recalled that their past anniversary celebrations were different, compared to the grand event on Tuesday.

"Every year talagang lume-level up 'yung pag-celebrate namin ng aming anniversary. Parang nung first year po 30 Blooms lamang po 'yung na-accommodate po, second year naman po, may mga taong dinadaanan lang pero ngayon hundred Blooms na talaga," Sevilleja said.

"Super thankful po kami sa lahat ng nagmamahal sa 'min and sa mga magmamahal pa," she added.

Mikha Lim recognized that many fans came from different parts of the Philippines just to celebrate with them.

"Siyempre, mahal na mahal ko 'yung Blooms. I'm very grateful na you all came here from different part of the Philippines just to see us. We hope na lagi kayong nandiyan para sa 'min sa journey na 'to," Lim said.

"Isa talaga 'to sa pinapangarap namin na makasama namin kayo bawat taon and sana makasama namin kayo sa mga susunod na taon," she added.

Robles admitted how they are still not used to big crowds in their events but expressed her gratitude for their support.

"Every event na gan'to karaming tao parang bago pa rin po siya sa amin so maraming-maraming salamat po. Hindi ito mangyayari kundi dahil sa inyo. Walang nagsa-succeed na mag-isa lang, lahat 'to dahil sa inyo, Blooms," the leader said.

"Hindi man namin in-expect na mangyayari 'to sa, na kung ano'ng mayroon tayo sa loob ng tatlong taon," she added.

Milestone after milestone, Robles is proud of all the members for soldiering on to achieve what they have right now.

"Super proud ako sa girls, sa BINI, kasi it all started with a dream pero ngayon unti-unti nangyayari na siya," she said.

Maloi Ricalde credited their Blooms for helping them reach their dreams.

"Siyempre, isa 'yung Blooms sa mga reasons kung nasaan kami ngayon. We are really grateful na kasama namin sila ngayon sa pag-grow and pag-celebrate namin ng aming third anniversary," she said.

Like fans sharing their stories with "Karera," Gwen Apuli applauded fans for inspiring others through their songs.

"Thank you for sharing your stories kasi kayo mismo, marami kayong nai-inspire na ibang tao," she said.

An emotional Robles also thanked the leaders of ABS-CBN for believing in the group, amid challenges experienced by the company.

"Naiiyak ako kasi nakikita ko po 'yung mga bosses namin ... kung alam niyo lang 'yung pinaglaban nila for us, nung dumaan 'yung shutdown and pandemic, sino ba naman kami para ipa-stay ng management, diba?" Robles said.

"Pero pinili nilang maniwala and magtiwala sa 'min so maraming-maraming salamat po ABS-CBN, maraming-maraming salamat po," she added.

As their successes pile up, Sheena Catacutan says their busy schedule is a blessing. Still, she stressed that they remain humble even as they continue to collect achievements and milestones.

"We see our busy schedules as blessings especially this year, I think this is our busiest year pero we take it one day at a time and kapag may rest days, we rest," Catacutan said.

"I think 'yun mas nag-change is mas 'yung nakikilala na kami 'pag lumalabas kasi compared to noon kilala kami pero as a group pero ngayon kahit individually kaming gumala, thank you, Lord sa blessings pero 'di na po kami makagala kasi 'wag na lang. We're still the same humble, beautiful, wonderful, amazing, majestic girls," she added in jest.

"Kahit na ganito 'yung bonding natin just know na genuine 'yung love and care namin for all of you and kahit sobrang dami na natin I hope na palaguin pa natin 'tong pamilyang 'to."

Ricalde is looking forward to what's to come in the next few years for BINI.

"We cannot wait na makasama pa kayo sa maraming-marami taon pa and Blooms, simula pa lang 'to. Excited na ba kayo?" she said.
