Sabrina Carpenter gets first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 with 'Please, Please, Please'

American singer Sabrina Carpenter got her first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 with "Please, Please, Please."

According to Billboard, "Please, Please, Please" drew 50.9 million official streams, 3.2 million radio airplay audience impressions, and sold 7,000 units in the United States in the June 14 to 20 tracking week, based on figures by Luminate.

She ousted former chart topper "I Had Some Help" by Post Malone feat. Morgan Wallen to No. 2 followed by "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" by Shaboozey.

Carpenter celebrated the new milestone promising fans that there's more to come in the future.

"MY FIRST #1 on the @billboard HOT 100!!!!!!! And espresso at #4. I’m very immensely grateful so I will surely always remember this day for the rest of my life! @jackantonoff @amyallen I deeply love this song and I love you both!!!!! I love our pitchy claps!!!!! Carpenter's "Expresso" fell to the No. 4 spot followed by "Million Dollar Baby" by Tommy Richman and "Not Like Us" by Kendrick Lamar.

Former chart topper "Too Sweet" by Hozier took the No. 7 spot followed by "Beautiful Things" by Benson Boone, "Lose Control" by Teddy Swims, and "Birds Of A Feather" by Billie Eilish.

Carpenter earlier said that her album "Short 'n Sweet" will be available on August 23. 

She was joined by Irish actor Barry Keoghan in the music video of "Please, Please, Please" playing partners in crime inspired by Lady Gaga's "Telephone" with Beyonce.

Carpenter rose to fame as a Disney actress and pursued her music career in 2014 at the same time. 

Her last album "Emails I Can't Send" released in 2022 gained international attention with singles like "Feather" and "Nonsense" as TikTok hits. 

Carpenter recently released "Expresso" which became a massive hit on Spotify as it topped the charts on the online streaming platform.
