P-pop groups BINI and SB19 slayed during the Billboard K Power 100 event Tuesday, August 27, in Seoul, South Korea.

In the event attended by Korean pop stars and industry insiders and producers, BINI and SB19 showed the world-class talent of Filipino groups.

BINI performed a mash-up of their hits "Pantropiko" and "Cherry on Top," while SB19 rocked the stage with their hit song "Gento."

It was a short but sweet trip for the nation’s girl group as they took the earliest flight out of Incheon to Manila, Wednesday August 28.

Granting a brief interview with ABS-CBN News, the girls recalled their experience last night.

“Yes, we are back. Parang naiwan pa rin 'yung utak namin doon since one day lang kami. Parang gusto pa namin mag-roam around. And 'yung award na nakuha namin, hindi pa nag-si-sink in sa amin,” said Jhoanna.

According to Maloi, the red-carpet event in front of the Korean-based press was really a moment for the girls.

“Grabe 'yung mga nakikita lang namin online, 'yung mga K-pop artists and 'yung makita namin 'yung faces namin doon, ang daming cameras, it’s a dream come true.”

Maloi added: “And actually, first time din naming um-attend ng awards show and ng red carpet so it’s one for the books.”

The red carpet was a great exposure for the girls to be introduced to Korean fans who were quick to notice some of the girls and their stunning outfits.

Gwen said, “Nakakakaba po siya, kasi first time po namin. Pero in-enjoy na lang po namin 'yung event kasi siyempre hindi naman laging ganito eh. Talagang matagal po naming hinintay itong opportunity na ito.”

The event was very intimate, according to MQ Mallari, BINI’s manager. It was very exclusive to invited artists, guests and industry stakeholders such as producers, creatives and even dignitaries. The stage set-up was very simple and not like big awards shows attended by fans and concert-goers.

The show lasted for two hours and a party was held afterwards.

“Yes may after-party pero hindi na po kami nakahalubilo kasi we need to go back, we need to pack and prep. Pero sana we can get to go back there again,” said Aiah.
