<p>Actor Gerald Anderson was recognized by the Philippine Coast GUard (PCG) on Thursday (August 8) for his rescue efforts during the recent onslaught of Super Typhoon Carina in Metro Manila.</p><p>Anderson, an Army reservist who also holds the rank of Auxiliary Commander at the PCG, was awarded the &quot;search and rescue medal&quot; by PCG Commandant Adm.
