<p>MANILA --  Kapamilya artist Darren Espanto had a &quot;plot twist&quot; on his way to Manila as he was rushed to a hospital. </p><p>On Instagram Stories, Espanto shared to his fans and followers the &quot;plot twist&quot; that happened to him as he uploaded a photo of him lying on hospital bed.</p><p>Espanto said that from the airport he was rushed to hospital due to appendicitis. He also thanked his family and friends who prayed for him.</p><p>&quot;From the airport to the hospital. Sabi sa inyo, grabeng plot twist nangyari sa akin eh. Appendicitis suddenly hit during my flight back to Manila. Was supposed to be back on &#x27;Showtime&#x27; today but emergencies happen talaga.
