MANILA — Watching your favorite shows just got better with iWant's major upgrade.

Beginning June 12, the “Home of Filipino Feels” rolls out its brand-new user interface on smart TVs that aims to make it easier, faster and clearer to stream content.

The updated platform promises a smoother and more enjoyable viewing experience. With its redesigned layout, users can now easily explore trending episodes, new releases, and binge-worthy scenes.

“Beginning June 12, we are soft launching the new iWant. You can expect a brand new UI (user interface), mas visually malinis na siya, madaling i-navigate and we really listen to the feedback of the users in creating this new iWant,” said Jolly Estaris, who heads iWant.

The upgraded platform also includes convenient features such as Continue Watching and Add to Watchlist.

“We’ve been looking in our social media. Madami nagsasabi na i-update naman natin ang iWant. For us, we really wanted to create a platform that is world-class that the Filipino will be proud of,” Estaris added.

The content lineup features TV shows like "FPJ’s Batang Quiapo," blockbuster movies and hit online series. By July, the new iWant experience will be available on other devices, including cellphones and tablets.

“We’re gonna start on the smart TV launch on June 12. We feel that's the most visual representation of the UI. Mas kitang kita nila 'yong bagong navigation, 'yong labas ng titles, mas malaki siya. As we get into July, we will start rolling out sa ibang platforms like desktop and then finally sa July 10,” Estaris explained.

Alongside the new look, subscribers can also expect fresh content.

iWant Originals series like "Love at First Spike" starring Emilio Daez, Sean Tristan, and Reign Parani; trending shows like "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition"; and exclusive content such as the BINI documentary and "Maalaala Mo Kaya" director’s cut by Charo Santos are all featured on the platform.

“Ang vision namin sa iWant is it's the home of the Filipino feels... We wanted to make sure that the platform is also representative of the Filipino range of emotions alam naman natin na maraming content ang ABS-CBN na really plays into different emotions,” Estaris shared.

At just ₱35 per month, families can enjoy unlimited access to a wide variety of content.

“We also wanna highlight na ang mga paborito nating primetime programs 'Batang quiapo,' 'Incognito' pati [noontime show] 'Showtime,' libre 'yan. Kung gusto naman nila makapanood ng iWant originals, ang ating subscription ay P35 pa rin so walang price increase. P35 lang they will get all the iWant originals,” Estaris emphasized.
