<p>Actress-singer and now businesswoman Nadine Lustre expressed her excitement over the launch of her latest brand, dehusk, alongside her longtime partner Christophe Bariou this coming November 30. I remember he started talking to different people, kind of like lowkey pitching lang what if we make our own brand of plant-based milk that’s locally made,” she recalled.</p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1732408699991Snapinsta.app_465319423_8596790337076668_2529036844307307862_n_1080.jpg" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>The celebrity businesswoman added that it was her boyfriend’s brother that introduced them to their other business partners that also had the same vision as they did for their milk brand. </p><p>“When they pitched us dehusk, obviously we were so excited about the concept and just a lot of the things and the reasons din why our partners are doing it are exactly the same reasons why we want to do it,” she recalled.</p><p>She shared how their latest brand will not only help those who are lactose-intolerant but also the local farmers as they plan on locally sourcing all of their materials in the country. </p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/fashion/2024/11/21/lead-actress-nadine-lustre-stuns-in-her-first-press-look-for-uninvited-1512" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u>READ: Lead Actress Nadine Lustre Stuns in Her First Press Look for ‘Uninvited’</u></strong></a></div><p>&quot;Dehusk is actually sourced locally and produced locally which is good because we’re actually the number one producers or exporters of coconut. Alam mo yun, so sobrang sayang–– we’re exporting our coconuts tapos bumabalik sa atin taxed pa tayo… So when we started working on dehusk, we were so so happy kasi it would kind of help with a lot of things,” she continued. </p><p>Nadine added that she personally uses the milk as she makes sure that everything that they put out in the market is nothing but quality. </p><p>“You can drink it on its own. It’s not like your usual gata that you use for your cooking. It’s really drinking milk,” she added.</p><p>Nadine and Christophe’s latest business venture is currently accepting preorders on their official website and will be launching it this coming November 30. </p><p>“A lot of exciting things ahead,” she ended.</p>
