Angel Aquino recounts how she was discovered as a model

<p>Angel Aquino took a trip down memory lane and recalled how she was discovered as a model.</p><p>In an interview with Bianca Gonzalez for TFC&#x27;s <em>BRGY</em>, the model turned actress recounted that it was at a fast-food chain where she met filmmaker Jeffrey Jeturian who would become instrumental for her to get into modeling.</p><p>&quot;Birthday ko &#x27;yun, siguro iyon &#x27;yung birthday gift ni God. It was on my 19th birthday, my nanay took me to Shakey&#x27;s,&quot; she shared.</p><p>&quot;Back then [Jeff] was a [production designer] for <em>Davao</em>, the TV series and &#x27;yun lang, sabi niya sa akin, &#x27;Gusto mo bang mag artista?&#x27;&quot;</p><p>Angel recalled refusing the offer at first as she was still studying at that time. &quot;Nag-aaral pa ako nun so sabi ko, &#x27;Parang hindi po.&#x27; Tsaka sa Baguio ako nun nag-aaral. But for some reason, wala kaming telepono nun, so I gave him our address. She admitted that she thought that her modeling career would no longer push through.</p><p>&quot;Everything was on hold, pina-VTR na [ni Jeff] ako. I couldn&#x27;t do any of the projects because I was pregnant. So nagkaroon lang talaga ako ng career after my first child. So &#x27;yun,  I wasn&#x27;t sure kung matutuloy pa... especially modeling.&quot;</p><p>She went on: &quot;But thankfully naman I was able to get back in shape, proper shape for modeling and life&#x27;s been good. Parang blessings just came.
