She recounted: &quot;Despite the growing affection I feel for him, I find myself unable to commit because of our differences in religious beliefs. It hurt both of us but despite the rejection, he remained respectful and patient, waiting for the right time to come.&quot;</p><p>Following Su-hyuk&#x27;s baptism with Iglesia Ni Cristo church, he asked Kristel again if he could be her boyfriend. The actress said yes.</p><p>&quot;The first man I ever said &#x27;I love you&#x27; to is none other than my first boyfriend,&quot; Kristel remarked.</p>
