<p>Korean actor Byeon Woo-seok shared how he helped his <em>Lovely Runne</em><em>r </em>co-star Kim Hye-yoon fulfill her fangirl dreams.</p><p>In a recent interview with Naver at the Star News headquarters in Korea, the actor revealed that Hye-yoon is a big fan of NewJeans, whom they met at the Asia Artist Awards (AAA) held in Bangkok, Thailand in December 2024.</p><p>Knowing how much she admired the group, Woo-seok took the initiative to introduce her to NewJeans.</p><p>&quot;On set, Hye-yoon always mentioned how much she liked NewJeans, and she even danced to their songs at a fan meeting,&quot; he recalled as per English translation.</p><p>&quot;But when she actually saw them, she was too much of a fan to say anything. It felt even more meaningful because we received the award thanks to people appreciating my chemistry with Hye-yoon. It was also a way of recognizing our hard work on set, which felt rewarding,&quot; he remarked.</p><p>&quot;Plus, it was great to see Hye-yoon again after a long time. If given the chance, I’d love to work with her again in another project,&quot; he stated.</p><p>Woo-seok and Hye-yoon headlined <em>Lovely Runner</em> in 2024.</p><p>The series follows the star &quot;Ryoo Seon-jae, a top star [who] ends his life and Im Sol, his top fan [who] somehow ends up at a time when they were in high school and tries to protect him. A fantasy romance unfolds where people who missed each other in time finally meet,&quot; as per its IMDb.</p>
