<p>Kapamilya actress Chie Filomeno took to social media to address the online criticisms and bashing she has received in recent weeks.</p><p>On her Instagram page, Chie called out people who continue to belittle her despite already sharing her side of the story.</p><p>“Lagi naman ganun, no? When you finally stand up for yourself, some people will still find something to criticize or belittle you. If I stay silent, I’m guilty. Tagal niyo na ganyan—kahit anong issue, kahit sinong artista—wala pa rin kayong pagbabago hanggang ngayon. Like I said—people will believe what they want to believe. Since patolera daw ako (kayo na rin nagsabi niyan 😌), I choose my battles wisely. Okay, this time… I’ll make patol,” she added.</p><p>Chie also condemned netizens who continue to post hurtful comments about her and her loved ones.</p><p>“I will not allow anyone to belittle me especially the people close to my heart. I’ve seen how some hide behind dummy accounts, private profiles, or worse—create new ones just to hurt others. That’s not right. Not right at all. Tigilan niyo na, please.” she stated.</p><p>She emphasized that she is using her platform to remind people about respecting others’ boundaries.</p><p>“I’m choosing to use my platform—this is me using my platform. It might not do much, but it’s about time people understand their boundaries. I will speak when I feel it’s necessary—dahil tao pa rin ako.
