Cherry Pie Picache reflects on why her relationship with Edu Manzano did not work out

<p>Cherry Pie Picache opened up about her past relationship with Edu Manzano and why it did not work out.</p><p>In an interview with Karen Davila for her latest YouTube vlog, Cherry Pie shared that their romance was rekindled when they worked together on the series <em>Marry Me, Marry You.</em></p><p>&quot;We were going out na before when I was dalaga. He was the Vice Mayor of Makati then, parang I cannot. I won&#x27;t be able to keep up. And we&#x27;re still as friends until we got to work with each other. He was single, I was single and lock in [taping] &#x27;yun eh. Sabi ko baka taping thing lang ito, when you&#x27;re always together, ganyan. But no, he persisted so mga three months. We didn&#x27;t talk for about two years... so when I saw him finally, I was so relieved kasi we are still the same... Sabi ko hay salamat, at least wala ng samaan ng loob.&quot;</p><p>When asked if there is still a chance for them to get back together, she replied: &quot;We will always be there for each other... pero hindi na siguro.&quot;</p><p>In the same interview, Cherry Pie was also asked if she felt disappointed on how love seems elusive in her life.</p><p>&quot;Before when I was younger siguro but now you find a bigger purpose eh as a woman, as a person,&quot; she pointed out. &quot;Parang I think &#x27;yung motherhood is already quota na ako dun, okay na ako dun (she has a son with former partner Gary Tria named Nio). That was my fervent prayer that was given already to me. Now, how can I complain? I have a blessed life. It would be better to have somebody, to have a companion, pero if it is not meant to be, I can use myself, my being for a greater purpose. Maybe I am out there to help people, to be for other, not only to be for one person.&quot;</p><div></div>
