‘AGT’ winner Jessica Sanchez shares the meaning behind name of her first baby

<p>Jessica Sanchez opened up about her journey as a first time mother. The Filipino-American singer gave birth to a baby girl on October 13 named Eliana Mae Gallardo.</p><p>&quot;These first few days have been emotional, sleepless, beautiful... everything I dreamed of and more,&quot; she shared in an interview with PEOPLE.</p><p>She also explained the meaning behind her daughter&#x27;s name. &quot;We chose the name Eliana because it means &#x27;God has answered,&#x27; and that&#x27;s exactly how she feels. Our answered prayer, our reminder of grace and purpose,&quot; she said.</p><p>&quot;I&#x27;m healing, learning and soaking in every second with her. My heart is overflowing with joy, gratitude, and a peace I can’t quite put into words,&quot; she began her post.</p><p>The Filipino-American singer remarked that her past experiences shaped her to the person she is today.  </p><p>&quot;Winning<em> America&#x27;s Got Talent </em>wasn’t just about a single performance or one night… It was about a journey that began over 20 years ago.
