Bianca Gonzalez opens up about career uncertainty, motherhood, and staying true to her passion

<p>Kapamilya television personality Bianca Gonzalez got candid in her recent sit-down interview with MJ Felipe on The Filipino Channel’s <em>Are You G?,</em> where she reflected on her two decade-long career as a host, the challenges of the job, and how she balances her professional life with motherhood.</p><p> In the episode, Bianca admitted that while hosting may look effortless onscreen, the reality is far more challenging.</p><p> “Tinitingnan ko dati na yung industry na parang kaya yan. In my head only Robi Domingo is another artist na focused sa hosting, It’s really the road less traveled pagdating sa, I guess, choices ng jobs sa television pero no regrets ako. I’m still grateful and I still get to do what I love until now,” Bianca expressed.</p><p> Despite her career longevity, Bianca admitted she still faces uncertainty.</p><p> “Uncertainty. Kaya mo yung low points, high points or unexpected moments pero yung uncertainty in the sense na dahil wala akong fall back na if hindi magwork out itong hosting na ito, aarte na lang ako or kakanta na lang ako, wala akong ganoon. Although, I have other things I do outside the television, ayon talaga ang fall back ko. Hindi lang dahil sa ekonomiya na ito pero dahil sa creative fulfillment mo rin, growth para you can keep on learning,” she shared.</p><p> Bianca recalled that when she was starting out, hosts were expected to be flawless.</p><p> “It was so hard kasi noong nagsisimula tayo maghost, ang tingin sa host noon dapat hindi nabubulol, dapat seryoso and kahit na may nangyayari kailangan on point pa rin hindi nawawala. Pero kasi with how the landscape was change and gusto na noong mga tao yung nabubulol, yung biglang matatawi tapos babalik. I think nafefeel ko na ganoon yung nararamdaman ko. I feel like ako I don&#x27;t really have that so free sila magbukas na kanilang kwento. Hopefully,” she stated.</p><p> She also sees her role as a storyteller in these times as crucial: “At the time like this, kailangan klaro tayo sa mga kwento na prinepresent natin na inspirational and motivation which is silang mga global Pinoys.”</p><p> Aside from TV hosting, Bianca continues to run her long-running podcast Paano Ba ‘To?  Where she revealed that she had hoped to release her second book last year, following the 10th anniversary of the brand, but it was delayed due to her busy schedule.</p><p> “Last year ko pa iyan tinatry tapusin pero hindi nangyari last year. Last year kasi Paano Ba ‘To was 10 years, it was its 10th year anniversary so sabi ko I want to release the book pero dahil sobrang life is life-ing, hindi ko nagawa so sabi ko this year pero di ko na nagawa. It’s more of responsible kami ng asawa ko for raising two human beings, ayon ang pressure. Parang feeling ko whether or not public figures kami, ayon ang pressure if we are doing the right thing? Lalaki ba sila ng tama? Are they growing up to be kind people?” she expressed.</p><p> She emphasized her and her husband’s parenting goals are helping their children find their passions and define success for themselves. </p><p>“Where I feel pressure is two things, ang goal namin ni JC is mahanap ng kids namin kung ano gusto nila sa life.
