Vice Ganda Kim Chiu and Jose Mari Chan happy to work together for a Christmas campaign

<p>Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda, actress Kim Chiu, and veteran OPM singer-songwriter Jose Mari Chan have teamed up for a new campaign with e-commerce platform Shopee, marking a refreshing collaboration among three of the country’s most recognizable personalities.</p><p>During their campaign shoot, the trio spoke with select members of the media, sharing their excitement over finally getting to work closely with one another, especially during what is widely regarded as the most festive time of the year in the Philippines.</p><p>“This is my first time to be grouped together with Vice Ganda and Kim Chiu. I was very excited and I couldn’t sleep when they told me that we will be working together. I’m always looking forward to it, especially I’m with Kim and Vice,” Jose Mari Chan expressed.</p><div><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?height=314&amp;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Freel%2F3849709905326497%2F&amp;show_text=false&amp;width=560&amp;t=0" width="560" height="314" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>Kim Chiu also said that being part of a campaign alongside two cultural icons felt surreal.</p><p>“I’m very excited for Shopee kasi this is a milestone para sa kanila because they are celebrating their 10th year and nakaka excite dahil kasama ko ang mga naglalakihan and nabo-bonggahan na si Mama Vice Ganda and ang staple kapag Pasko dito sa Pilipinas - si Sir JMC. To be part of this huge campaign is such an honor and very excited din kasi Shopee is a big part of every Filipino household na rin talaga,” Kim stated.</p><p>She added, “Naging endorser nila ako noong pandemic so it’s really a big part na rin and parang game changer siya para sa mga Pilipino lalo noong pandemic.”</p><p>For Vice Ganda, he shared how he appreciated being tapos again for the e-commerce platform&#x27;s biggest celebrations.</p><p>“Super nakakakilig to be part of this momentous event kasi 10th anniversary ng Shopee tapos campaign pa for Christmas and makakasama pa ang very iconic na Jose Mari Chan. Actually, dream ko iyon kasi tuwing nakikita ko yung campaign ng Shopee lagi, aabangan mo na yung pagdating ng Ber months pa lang si Jose Mari Chan tapos kasama ko pa si Kim Chiu maliban sa Showtime. Hindi lang siya isang simpleng tindahan sa napakaraming tindahan sa paligid pero naging paborito ring tindahan and partner ng mga Pilipino.”</p><p>Shopee Philippines Head Vincent Lee explained the significance of bringing the three personalities together for the anniversary and Christmas campaign.</p><p>“We started thinking about how we make our 10th year a little different because this is the 10th year of Shopee in the Philippines so we thought we could bring back all the iconic figures that grew and help us along the way together, so we invited the three of them together for this Christmas,” he explained.</p><div style="text-align:center"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1763286480337kim-vice--jose-marie-chan.jpg" style="width:600px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>“In general, we want to tell the Filipino consumers a bunch of gratitude and to show how we have grown with the Filipino consumers, Filipino families as well as with our iconic brand ambassadors,” he stated.</p><p>Meanwhile, the three stars also opened up about their personal Christmas traditions from early gift shopping to creating meaningful holiday spaces at home.</p><p>Jose Mari Chan shared how his family prepares for the season long before December arrives.</p><p>“We have five children and nine grandchildren. So, we start shopping November pa lang, even October. And we put the gifts underneath the Christmas tree. Lalo na film fest month ang December so sabay-sabay. So &#x27;yung limited time ko na makapag-shopping, idine-devote ko na &#x27;yon for my family, immediate family ko.
