Gina was 23 years old at the time of her passing. </p><div><br/></div><p>According to the initial reports, her death was caused by cardiorespiratory distress and her body will be undergoing An autopsy according to the police. This is to ensure that there isn&#x27;t any foul play that happened at the time of her passing according to the police. </p><div><br/></div><p>&quot;Possible ay homicide kung makitaan na may foul play doon pero pag wala naman, pag makitaan naman dun na natural cause of death lang, magsasara na yung case,&quot; PltCol. Edison Ouano, chief of QCPD-CIDU shared. </p><div><br/></div><p>He added that the ex-boyfriend of Gina has a scratch on his face which he allegedly received from the friends of the late actress. </p><div><br/></div><p>&quot;Yun ang allegation ng ex-boyfriend kasi may kalmot siya dito tapos dito sa may sugat. Nag post ng video na captured nila sa side ng ex-boyfriend. So yun yung hinihingi namin at sabi ng abogado ng ex-boyfriend, gagamitin daw nila laban doon sa nagbugbog,&quot; he added. </p><div><br/></div><p>The siblings of Gina flew from Mindanao as well after hearing the tragic passing of their sister but didn&#x27;t grant any interview to the press as of this writing. The father of the ex-boyfriend as well gave his sworn statement as part of the investigation–– to which he maintained that he didn&#x27;t hear any commotion at the time. </p><div><br/></div><p>In an earlier report, Gina was brought to the hospital after the ex-boyfriend noticed that she wasn&#x27;t breathing. Investigators visited the condo unit as well wherein the found no evidence of any struggle coming from the victim. </p><div><br/></div><p>“Nung tinignan niya yung katabi niya, parang wala nang buhay kaya isinugod na sa ospital… Hospital po mismo yung tumawag sa Police Station 1 na nagsasabing may insidente na ganun kaya pinuntahan po ng Station 1 and yun nga po yung nailagay nila sa report,” PMAJ Jennifer Gannaban told <em>TV Patrol.</em></p><div> </div><p>“Sa initial cursory examination natin sa mga investigator, so far wala pong nakitang strangulation o mga pasa na dahilan sa pagkamatay ng biktima. I-open natin [sa autopsy] kapag may doubt tayo kung may foul play o natural cause, para malaman talaga kung ano talaga ang cause ng ikinamatay ng isang biktima,” the chief added.</p><div><br/></div><p>The results of the autopsy will come out sometime this week as shared by the police.</p><div><br/></div><p>Meanwhile, friends and family of the late actress expressed their pain on social media over her death. Other netizens have started calling out for the justice as they believe there was foul play involved and have shared their thoughts and opinions about the death on social media. </p><div><br/></div><p>Gina is a social media influencer who has over 1.4 million followers on TikTok, 177,000 followers on Instagram, and almost half a million followers on Facebook. She is a freelance model and had several brand deals according to her social media accounts. On the official site of IMDb (Internet Movie Database), Gina has been credited for an acting gig in the film, <em>My Fairy Tail Love Story</em>, where she played as a club goer. </p>
