Never ko po naranasan na may dalawa akong tainga na nakakarinig. But my entire life, I’ve been looking at it in such a positive light na hindi ko po napansin ang mga negatibong effects,” Joaquin previously shared.</p><p>He added how he never saw it as a hindrance as his parents never treated him like he was deaf. Due to his hearing disability, he admitted that he became a good listener as he makes sure to hear out each person that talks to him. </p><p>“Noong lumalaki po ako, hindi ko po naramdam na may special needs po ako. Kasi &#x27;yung mga magulang ko, they treated me like I wasn’t deaf, they didn’t treat me na kawawa ako. They enforced positivity na dahil dito unique ako. As a kid, inisip ko po siya na superpower ko siya. Superpowers are what make superheroes unique, that what makes them superheroes and not normal people,” he expressed. </p><p>Neil then shared in his Instagram post how happy he was for his son to be growing up and become an inspiration to many. Other netizens applauded Neil and Joaquin’s mom for raising him to be empathetic and making sure to listen to others. </p><p>Previously, Joaquin’s stepmom, Angel Locsin, broke her social media hiatus to share how much her stepson has grown during his stay inside the PBB house. </p><p>“I don’t usually comment, but seeing Joaquin grow from a little boy into someone who helps, listens, and keeps the peace at home makes me proud.
