Cong TV’s vlog inspires fans with story of hope and second chances

<p>YouTuber and endorser Lincoln Velasquez, popularly known as Cong TV, once again captured the hearts of fans and viewers. After a three-month break on YouTube, Cong TV made a powerful comeback with his vlog titled “ISTASYON.”</p><p>Known for his humor and lighthearted content, Cong TV took a different path this time, one that led to a story of compassion, redemption, and faith. The goal was to invite that person to join Cong TV and his team on a spontaneous trip to Taiwan. Instead of simply parting ways, Cong TV struck up a conversation and learned that Aaron had been struggling to find work for a long time, often facing rejection after rejection despite his determination. Cong TV invited him to join the Taiwan trip, but Aaron admitted he did not have a passport. As they walked, Aaron opened up about his past, revealing that he had spent five months in jail due to drug-related charges. He confessed that he was not sure if he deserved another chance. But Cong TV’s response amused the netizens: “Pinagbayaran mo na ’di ba? Tapos na.”</p><p>Since processing his documents at the Department of Foreign Affairs in one day would be difficult due to his lack of requirements, Cong TV decided to find another way to help Aaron. He called and reached out to his friend Roy, who owns a boodle fight restaurant, simply hoping to find a job opening in his restaurant or even job leads for Aaron.</p><p>Without hesitation, Roy assured Cong TV that he would help by employing Aaron in his restaurant. He said that he understands Aaron&#x27;s fear of being judged after being in jail because Roy himself was also a former convict sentenced to two years in prison.</p><p>Determined to turn his life around, Aaron wasted no time. They visited Roy’s restaurant, where Roy personally interviewed him for the position of waiter. During the conversation, Roy shared his story and reflected on redemption and resilience.</p><p>“Thankful din ako na nangyari ‘yun [na nakulong ako],” Roy admitted. “Dahil na-reform ako at natuto ako sa kung ano man yung mga flaws ko dati. Talagang inayos ko na ngayon. Kung hindi mo alam, yung tatlong staff na ‘yan kasama ko sa loob ng bilibid ‘yan,” he continued.</p><p>“Hindi naman lahat ng nakakulong ay masamang tao. Lahat naman may pinagdadaanan. Pwede ka na magsimula dito. Magaan ang loob ko sa mga nakakulong, sa mga may pinagdadaanan. Sama-sama tayo dito. Ang hirap ng pinagdaanan natin sa loob, tapos sasayangin lang natin sa labas? Wala na, para bumalik tayo dun. Diretso na tayo ngayon,” Roy shared to Aaron.</p><p>Roy understood what it meant to be judged by one’s past. It had become his personal mission to give second chances. Moved by Aaron’s sincerity and determination, Roy hired him on the spot. In that moment, a new chapter for Aaron began, not just a job, but a chance of life renewed.</p><p>Ending the vlog, Aaron wholeheartedly thanked Cong TV and Burong for helping him secure a job. From a random photo request on a train to Aaron finding hope and purpose once more, the vlog has become more than just a comeback video.
