Dustin Yu reveals real score with Bianca De Vera

<p>Dustin Yu got real about the score between him and Bianca De Vera during an interview with Aster Amoyo on December 19, offering a thoughtful and careful look at the bond they formed inside the <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pinoy-big-brother-collab"><em><strong>Pinoy Big Brother</strong></em></a><em><strong></strong> </em>house up until today. Dustin and Bianca, known to fans as DusBia, were the last pair of housemates to be evicted before the Big Night, making their story one that viewers closely followed even after their exit. </p><div><br/></div><p>Asked who first caught his attention upon entering the <em>PBB</em> house, Dustin did not hesitate to name Bianca, describing how his curiosity toward her slowly grew during their time together. </p><div><br/></div><p>“Ako talaga sorang na-curious talaga ako kay Bianca. Iba talaga siya sa mga nakakasama ko before. He explained that at the time, his focus was largely on work and self-growth. </p><div><br/></div><p>“Naalala ko lang talaga, Tita, hindi naman ako nagp-play safe talaga. Pero nung time talaga na ‘yun focused talaga ako sa work tsaka sa sarili. Parang nung una pa lang, pagpasok niya pa lang ng <em>PBB</em>, sobrang naging interesado na talaga ako sa mga kwento niya, sa ugali niya, kung paano siya everyday.” </p><div><br/></div><p>He also addressed a viral <em>PBB</em> clip where he mentioned not being fond of girls like Bianca, a statement that drew mixed reactions online. Dustin clarified what he truly meant by that remark. “Ang ibig ko po sabihin non, hindi ako sanay na makakilala ng tao na katulad niya in a good way. ‘Yung mga na-date ko or mga ex ko dati mga serious. Si Bianca kasi kalog eh.” </p><div><br/></div><p>Before meeting Bianca, Dustin shared that he had been single for about four years, a period he spent focusing on personal growth. Entering <em>PBB</em>, however, became a turning point for him: “Kasi parang tinrabaho ko talaga ‘yung sarili ko. Tapos ayun, blessing in disguise na pagpasok ko ng <em>PBB</em> naramdaman ko na bigla akong nag-open. Bigla akong nakakilala ng tao na interesado ako. Kasi nung before <em>PBB</em>, hindi talaga ako interesado sa kahit kanino.” </p><div><br/></div><p>He went on to describe how Bianca’s personality and outlook in life left a lasting impression on him: “Stand out talaga sa akin ‘yung personality niya, ‘yung vision niya sa buhay. ‘Yung humor niya, nakakatawa rin. Hindi ka ma-bobore sa kaniya.” </p><div><br/></div><p>“Everything happens for a reason talaga. Siyempre, kung ano man ‘yung na-build namin sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya, for sure mas pinapatibay pa namin.” </p><div><br/></div><p>He also addressed concerns about them being under different networks, saying it has not been an issue, especially with collaborations between ABS-CBN and GMA: “Yung friendship naman namin labas naman na po sa trabaho.” </p><div><br/></div><p>“Happy kami sa kung anong meron kami. Yung friendship [mula pa sa] nabuo namin sa PBB. Grabe ‘yung suporta nila sa amin. May factor rin po yun kung bakit kami matibay o bakit kami masaya ngayon ni Bianca. Dahil rin sa mga fans talaga. Sobrang laking blessing, kasi ito rin ‘yung nagpatuloy sa amin sa relationship namin, sa friendship namin. Itong movie na ‘to,” he shared. </p><div><br/></div><p>Dustin Yu is enjoying a milestone year as he stars in two entries at the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival. Aside from<em> Love You So Bad,</em> co-produced by Star Cinema, GMA Pictures, and Regal Entertainment and directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar, he is also part of <em>Shake, Rattle, &amp; Roll: Evil Origins</em>. Both films open in cinemas nationwide starting December 25.</p>
