Taylor Swift donates over ₱117 million to charity this Christmas

<p>Taylor Swift is spreading the joy this holiday season. Just in time for Christmas, the global superstar donated more than ₱117 million to charitable organizations including Feeding America, the American Heart Association, and MusiCares, all confirming her contributions on December 24 (PHT). </p><p>Feeding America, the largest non-profit hunger-relief organization in the U.S., shared the news on Instagram, posting a message from its CEO Claire Babineaux-Fontenot expressing gratitude for Taylor’s donation.  </p><p>“We are incredibly grateful for Taylor Swift&#x27;s $1 million gift to Feeding America,” Babineaux-Fontenot wrote. </p><p>&quot;This holiday season, her continued support is a powerful reminder of what&#x27;s possible when we unite to end hunger. According to a press release, the contribution will advance research, strengthen prevention and treatment efforts, and expand access to life-saving care. It takes a village to bring the music fans love to life, and Taylor&#x27;s donation helps ensure that all music professionals, across genres and professions, don&#x27;t have to choose between a life in music and life-sustaining care,” the post read.  </p><p>“Thank you Taylor for supporting our mission! Recently, in her Disney+ docuseries <em>The End of an Era,</em> she revealed that she gave increased bonuses to her <em>Eras Tour </em>crew after the tour grossed over $2 billion (around ₱116 billion), highlighting her commitment to rewarding those who work behind the scenes.  </p><p>“Bonus day is so important because setting a precedent with the Eras Tour is really important to me,” she said in episode 2. “If the tour grosses more, they get more of a bonus.
