His youngest son, Cash, led the way as he was also the one directing the rest to sing along.</p><p>“Ganun yata talaga ‘pag tumatanda ka na, mas gusto mo na mas-simple nalang ang handaan,” Chito wrote in his caption.</p><p>Joining Chito and Cash in the simple celebration were his other children, Pia and Miggy, and his wife, Neri Miranda.</p><p>“Nag-beach lang kami, nag-gym ako sandali, tapos nag-dinner lang kami sa bahay kasama ng pamilya. Mahal na mahal ko mga kaibigan ko (sigurado ako na alam nyo naman yun) pero tuwing birthday ko, masaya na talaga ako basta kasama ko pamilya ko,” he recalled.</p><p>He then expressed his gratitude towards everyone that greeted and remembered him on his special day.</p><p>“Please know na natanggap at sobrang na-appreciate ko lahat ng birthday greetings nyo, and sobrang ramdam ko yung pagmamahal ninyo (kahit simple greeting lang yun)...di lang ako maka-reply one by one kasi nag-quality time muna ako kasama ng pamilya ko,” he said.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/2022/11/21/fresh-scoops/chito-reveals-story-behind-hit-song-mang-jose-203910"><strong>READ: Chito Miranda reveals story behind Parokya Ni Edgar hit song Mang Jose<br/></strong></a></div><p>Despite not being able to reply individually, Chito maintained that he saw all the greetings and is extremely thankful for it. He asked for everyone’s understanding as to why he couldn’t reply to everyone as he wanted to enjoy his quality time with his family.</p><p>“Ang birthday gift nyo nalang sa akin is pag-unawa: please understand kung di ako maka-reply sa inyo one by one, and pls don&#x27;t think na di ko pinahahalagahan yung fact na naalala nyo ako i-greet nyo sa birthday ko,” he added.</p><p>Chito wanted to spend more time with his family since he has been busy since the year began as he has been performing alongside Parokya ni Edgar in different places. The singer-songwriter previously revealed that he suddenly lost his voice in the latter part of their show in La Union earlier this month. </p>
