BGYO celebrates 4th anniversary with a beach getaway with their supporters

<p>From humble beginnings as the Star Hunt Academy or SHA Boys, BGYO has truly evolved into one of the most exciting Filipino boy groups.</p><div><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FBGYO.PH%2Fposts%2Fpfbid0dyCKagYG4kvuCcKyLL4runSXJ3ab2ge6a2hTBBuGNMWz4yN8y6CzdtCgJBUXA7hgl&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500" width="500" height="250" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>In a recent YouTube vlog, the five-member group—Gelo, Mikki, Akira, JL, and Nate—celebrated their fourth anniversary with a fun-filled beach getaway alongside their loyal supporters, the Aces.</p><div><iframe width="1519" height="569" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/NZTatJ8zXpE" title="BGYO | #BGYO_FRFR 4th Anniversary Vlog" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>BGYO’s Nate expressed his joy in seeing their supporters continue to grow.</p><p>“I&#x27;m happy that the energy is getting bigger and the family is growing bigger,” Nate said.</p><p>Akira was moved, knowing that some of the attendees traveled from afar just to be part of the celebration.</p><p>“Bumiyahe talaga sila. Kahit sabi mong napakalayo na itong lugar na ito, talagang pinuntahan nila para lang maka-attend dito sa event na ito. And nakaka-touch siya ng puso,” he shared.</p><p>The event kicked off with a fun Filipino classic game, Patintero, which also happens to be the title of one of their songs. As of this writing, BGYO’s &quot;Patintero&quot; has amassed over 2.5 million streams on Spotify, while its music video has reached 2.7 million views on YouTube.</p><div style="text-align:center"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1739350913823BGYO-celebrates-4th-anniversary-with-a-beach-getaway-with-their-supporters-1.jpg" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><div style="text-align:center"><strong>COURTESY: BGYO OFFICIAL </strong></div><p>BGYO’s leader, Gelo, shared how enjoyable it was to play alongside their fans and connect with them.</p><p>“Kahit sabihin mong simple yung game lang siya na patintero makikita mo sa mga Aces din na masaya sila kasi I don&#x27;t think dahil lang kasama kami I think because nai-enjoy lang talaga nila yung bonding with newfound friends ng ACES. Kami na tini-treat din namin sila as a family, as a friend na rin,” Gelo explained.</p><p>Mikki also mentioned that the activity felt like a welcome break from work, giving them a chance to unwind with supporters.</p><p>“This feels (like it is) not work. Parang ano siya, vacation with all of our supporters. Mahilig talaga ako sa nature. Mahilig ako lumabas-labas. So pag nagmo-motor sa bundok, ganyan. Sa akin po ang saya nung pakiramdam na yun na first time ko magtanim ng puno para sa kalikasan din. Kasi iba rin talaga yung halaga. So na-educate din kami dun sa event na yun,” Akira shared.</p><p>JL shared that he plans to check on the mangrove he planted, joking that he hopes it will grow like a child.</p><p>“Pinangalanan din namin siya, yung pangalan nung sa akin is Jolo Bear. So, gusto kong balikan si Jolo Bear. For me po, parang mas na-strengthen yung bond namin as a family. Yun din yung masaya kasi sobrang competitive ng bawat isa. Talagang ayaw magpatalo kahit yung mga nanonood na pag sinabing outside, sasabihin nila inside daw. Pag yung ano naman inside, sasabihin outside. So lahat ayaw magpatalo. I think what makes the swimming special kasi sobrang spontaneous nung mga nangyari. Agree ba kayo na sulit yung araw? Masaya? And come again, sobrang happy kami. Gusto lang namin mag-formally mag-thank you sa inyong lahat, sabay-sabay. Just like we always do.
