Ara Davao gears up for more exciting roles after 'FPJ’s Batang Quiapo'

<p>After making her acting debut as Katherine Caballero in the hit Kapamilya series <em>FPJ’s Batang Quiapo</em>, actress Ara Davao is eager to take on more challenging and diverse roles in her future projects.</p><p>In an exclusive interview at the grand opening of a Facial Care Centre branch in Quezon City, Ara shared her aspirations as an artist.</p><p>“Since I’m just starting, ang dami ko pang gustong i-explore like ang role ko (sa <em>Batang Quiapo</em>) is more demure, hindi siya masyadong lumabas so next time sana palaban na yung role ko. One of the projects she hopes to be part of is another hit Kapamilya series, <em>Incognito,</em> where she would love to work with her close friend, Kaila Estrada.</p><p>“Fan ako ng <em>Incognito</em> ngayon and friend ko si Kaila Estrada in real life. I’m not closing any doors. Minsan kasi may mga unexpected na hindi naman kayo pine-pair pero (nagclick),” she stated.</p><p>Ara’s debut on television has been a rewarding experience, allowing her to build strong friendships and gain valuable mentorship from industry veterans.</p><p>“Hindi ko inexpect like getting that series kasi dati napapanood ko lang. Alam ito ni Direk Coco (Martin), like fan ako, like yung mga pelikula niya pinapanood ko. However, she remains grateful for the guidance she receives.</p><p>“Nandoon na yun but hindi ka naman pwede magfocus doon. Kailangan thankful ka talaga kasi may guidance ka, may extra guidance ka. Dapat professional ka and you’re nice to everyone. I’m not sure when it’s coming out but kasi I was filming it sabay ng <em>Batang Quiapo </em>so I think this year it should be coming out,” she revealed.</p>
