<p>Kapuso actor Mavy Legaspi expressed his excitement after he was announced to be the newest host of the upcoming <em>Pinoy Big Brother </em>edition. A collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA, the much-anticipated season will be the first time to see celebrities from both networks in one house. I can’t wait to meet the housemates. Can’t wait to learn from the amazing PBB hosts. I won’t let any of you down. Ready to host,” he shared.</p><p>Despite the mixed reactions from netizens and loyal viewers of the hit reality program, Mavy assured that he will take all the criticisms and improve his craft as the season progresses.</p><p>“Thank you for all the love &amp; support guys. It’s honestly so overwhelming. I’ll do my very best. I’ll take any constructive criticism moving forward and utilize it to become a better host,” he wrote.</p><p>“All the extra noise is just unnecessary, I suggest you keep it to yourself ‘cause it doesn’t work on me. Thank you for the warm introduction @pbbabscbntv &amp; @itsshowtimena. It’s truly an honor to be part of this Family. I can’t wait to meet the new housemates &amp; to get started. To God be the Glory,” he wrote in his caption.</p><p>Family, friends, and fans of Mavy sent their congratulatory messages in the comment section of his post. Some expressed how excited they are for the Kapuso Royal Tropa ni Kuya to join the hit reality program.</p><p>“Welcome Mavy 🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️ excited kmi makasama ka,” Melai Cantiveros-Francisco wrote.</p><p>“This is your time to redeem yourself. You will learn a lot from this; don&#x27;t mess it up,” a fan shared.</p><p>“Nice one! Congrats again, son. Proud of you,” his mom, Carmina Villarroel added.</p><p>The latest edition of PBB is set to start soon. This will be the 20th year since the Big Brother franchise has graced Philippine TV and will mark a historic collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA. </p>
