Screengrabs from  The Drew Barrymore Show</span></span></span></div><p>Hollywood star Drew Barrymore raved about the Philippines&#x27; arroz caldo after trying it for the first time in her television show.</p><p>The savory porridge was prepared for the actress by Filipina chef Pilar Valdes, her senior culinary contributor on the show.</p><p>Valdes revealed that arroz caldo is a dish that is &quot;near and dear&quot; to her heart, saying it is her go-to dish on days when she feels under the weather.</p><p>&quot;My mom makes this for me when I&#x27;m sick. I don&#x27;t live at home anymore, I&#x27;ve been gone for 24 years, so now my husband makes this for me when I&#x27;m sick. She taught him how to make it,&quot; the chef said.</p><p>After getting her first spoonful, Barrymore said: &quot;It has so much flavor.
