<p>South Korean singer and disc jockey (DJ) Koo Jun Yup took to social media to express his grief over the passing of his wife, Taiwanese star Barbie Hsu, and to address rumors regarding her assets.</p><p>On his Instagram page, DJ Koo shared his sorrow in separate posts written in both Korean and Chinese, revealing his deep pain following his wife’s passing on February 2.</p><p>“On Feb. 2, 2025, my angel returned to heaven. It is terrifying to think that such cruel people truly exist in this world. Additionally, there were accusations that DJ Koo had &quot;pretended to be sad&quot; by standing in the rain.</p><p>Barbie Hsu and Koo Jun Yup married in February 2022, rekindling their romance more than two decades after their initial relationship ended.</p><p>Barbie was previously married to Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei in 2010, with whom she shared two children.</p><p>Barbie’s ashes have now returned to Taiwan after an intimate funeral was held in Japan. Taiwanese outlets reported that Barbie’s ashes will be placed at a memorial park in Sanzhi, New Taipei City.</p>
