Gigi Hadid on co-parenting with Zayn Malik: ‘We have each other’s backs’

<p>Gigi Hadid opened up about co-parenting her four-year-old daughter, Khai, with former partner Zayn Malik.</p><p>In an interview with <em>Vogue </em>for its April issue, the model explained how they manage parenting responsibilities.</p><p>&quot;Zayn and I do our custody schedules months in advance,&quot; Gigi relayed. &quot;That doesn’t mean that it doesn’t change here and there, but we help each other out and have each other’s backs.&quot;</p><p>Gigi described their approach to co-parenting as being rooted in &quot;love and a sense of camaraderie.&quot;</p><p>She also acknowledged the challenge of navigating their personal lives in the public eye. &quot;There is the hard part of the world knowing this much, and thinking they know everything,&quot; Gigi remarked.</p><p>She made it clear that their priority remains their daughter’s well-being. &quot;And at the end of the day, we’re not interested in giving everyone our whole story. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, &amp; thankful for the life we will have together.&quot;</p><p>Meanwhile, Gigi wrote: &quot;Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world. So in love.&quot;</p><p>It was in October 2021 when it was reported that Gigi and Zayn had gone separate ways. </p>
