The pair have a 13-year age gap.As the issues against Soo-hyun surfaced, some brands began pulling out their advertisements featuring the actor while his participation in a variety show filming was minimized, according to reports.Gold Medalist, which previously managed Sae-ron, also rejected claims that Soo-hyun pressured Sae-ron into repaying the debt she incurred from her drunk driving incident in 2022.The company said it worked to reduce the actress’ debt from 1.014 billion won to 700 million won, and helped shoulder the remaining amount.“The issue of Kim Sae-ron’s debt was entirely a matter between Gold Medalist and Kim Sae-ron. The claims that Kim Soo-hyun personally lent money to Kim Sae-ron or suddenly sought to get it back are unfounded,” it said.Gold Medalist also slammed HoverLab for allegedly distorting facts and altering context.“We want to ask whether it is acceptable for the private matters of two adults to be disclosed without consent and whether he should have to endure all of this due to the non-consensual disclosure of private lives,” it said.Sae-ron, once a promising child actor best known for the 2010 film “The Man from Nowhere,” was found dead in her home in February.
