<p>Kim Atienza revealed that he got into an accident earlier this week and sustained an injury causing him to miss work. I heard a loud crack and knew something was broken,” he recalled.</p><div><br/></div><p>He added how it was a miracle that the Fire Emergency Paramedic Assistance group (FEPAG) EMS PHILS were right behind him and saw the crash. They immediately came to help the Kapuso star as he had no one with him at that time.</p><div><br/></div><p>“As I laid on the street stunned, miracle of miracles, in seconds, a fully staffed ambulance arrived giving me first aid and stopping the cars from running me over. It was a miracle that the boys of FEPAG EMS PHILS were right behind me, off duty on their way to have dinner in Malate,” he said.</p><div><br/></div><p>Despite sustaining a broken rib, Kim expressed how grateful he is that nothing else from his body was affected from the crash. He assured his fans that he’s already on the road to recovery but will be off from work until his rib heals. </p><div><br/></div><p>“God loves me so much. I could&#x27;ve broken my spine or banged my head leaving me with graver injuries (or death) but all I have is a broken rib. I could&#x27;ve been run over in the dark if not for the off duty FEPAG boys stopping traffic for me,” he added.</p><div><br/></div><p>Kim uploaded several clips of the medical team coming to his assistance and made sure to give them credit in his caption for their help. </p><div><br/></div><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/2024/6/6/kim-atienza-calls-out-death-hoax-not-today-1008" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>READ: Kim Atienza calls out death hoax: ‘Not today’</strong></a></div><div><br/></div><p>“Maraming maraming salamat Panginoon. You are good, unchanging and ever present in everything I do. I have nothing in my heart but Gratitude. Life is good. God is good all the time,” he ended. </p><div><br/></div><p>Friends and fans of the Kapuso star sent their well wishes and prayers in the comment section. Other netizens shared how lucky Kim was despite the injury he sustained. </p>
