<p>Bangs Garcia opened up about her experiences as a mother, offering heartfelt insights on balancing parenthood and self-care.</p><p>Reflecting on her early days as a mom, Bangs said the transition came naturally to her.</p><p>&quot;As a first-time mom, I was quite natural actually, I think, kasi mahiilig talaga ako sa bata noon pa. And I have a baby brother so I was like a second mom to my brother,&quot; she said in an interview on NET25.  </p><p>She described herself as a nurturing person, adding that her husband has been an active partner in raising their children.</p><p>&quot;Nurturing talaga &#x27;yung nature ko so medyo natural ako doon and with the help of my husband naman, it&#x27;s good. He is very helpful,&quot; she said.</p><p>Now based in the United Kingdom, Bangs is a hands-on mom to her two daughters. She tied the knot with Filipino-British partner Lloyd Birchmore in 2016. Hindi porket nanay ka na hindi mo na aalagaan ang sarili mo. I always tell people to do self-care, self-love, kasi it will be better to take care of everybody around you if you love yourself first,&quot; she said.</p><p>She also addressed the common misconception that prioritizing self-love is selfish.</p><p>&quot;Some moms feel like it&#x27;s a selfish thing to love themselves, no don&#x27;t believe in that. Kailangan mong mahalin ang sarili mo, alagaan mo talaga para mas madaling alagaan ang anak mo, ang asawa mo. Time managament is very important so kung sa tingin mo may lakad kayo kinabukasan maaga, so mag-prepare ka para makapag-makeup ka ng konti, para mag-ayos ka,&quot; she said.</p>
