Bangs Garcia shares why she left the showbiz industry: ‘It’s all about my family now’

Actress Bangs Garcia gave a more detailed explanation on why she left the Philippine showbiz industry to focus on her family. She expressed how much she wanted to start a family in the European country noting how she saw her in-laws raise her husband and his sibling.“I can move here, I mean I want to be with my husband–– I want to start a family here. Plus, I’ve seen how my in-laws have brought up my husband and his brother and it’s really good. The great thing about bringing up children here is the independence–– I like how they don’t rely on yayas or helpers. I can’t even imagine myself having my kids looked after by someone else,” she shared.Bangs added that it was a “no-brainer” packing up and leaving her acting career behind.“It was no brainer for me that I was going to leave my career. It’s all about my family now. I’m so family-oriented,” she added.Despite this, the former actress admitted that she does miss the “fast-paced life” that she once lived in the Philippines. Prior to her getting back to her work and starting her restaurant, Bangs spent all her time being a full-time mother.“Especially that I’ve just started spreading my wings again because as I’ve said I’m such a hands on mom. My kids are getting older now so I can actually leave them with my in-laws now whenever I need help. They are very supportive, I love them,” she said.With Bangs slowly getting back to being a working mom, she shared that she is slowly trying to broaden her network in the UK. She revealed that she is focusing on social media gigs as she can still attend to the needs of her kids while creating content.“It’s like a dream job for any mom plus sometimes I get to take my entire family to like let&#x27;s say Turkiye and all expenses paid–– the hotel, the plane fare,” she shared.“I wanna broaden my network here in the UK so I am beginning to do that actually which is really good. It’s now probably 70% Filipino, 30% non-Filipino ones. Not bad, right,” she expressed.  Bangs’ last known work was back in 2017 with her special participation in the ABS-CBN series Ikaw Lang ang Iibigin where she played the role of the young Victoria Quintana-Dela Vega.
