EXCLUSIVE: Reign Parani on being cast in ‘Love At First Spike’: ‘2025 is definitely my year’

<p>Since coming into the limelight as a teen housemate on <em>Pinoy Big Brother Season 8</em>, Reign Parani has been patiently working on her showbiz career. She shared that she is looking forward to showcasing her talent in her latest project, iWantTFC’s newest coming-of-age sports drama series <em>Love At First Spike</em>. </p><p>“My year so far has been incredible. I think this is the most I have been doing. 2025 is definitely my year,” Reign claimed. “I think I’ve been manifesting it naman everyday of last year (laughs).“</p><p>Reign admitted that she had been through a rough patch, and being part of of <em>Love At First Spike</em> is something she is grateful for. </p><p>“I had a rough year last year so I think this is God’s compensation for that. I’m so glad. This is the biggest blessing. I’ve always dreamed to have a lead role and do a rom-com and do drama and also do a youth-oriented series. So parang it’s all in one and I’m so happy that I got the role. I just couldn’t believe it from auditions pa lang. I was never the handpicked kind of person, but I auditioned for this. I really did, out of a lot of people from Star Magic. It was really something I really worked hard for. I remember I had 7 am classes and I would come here to ABS-CBN from Cavite to audition. I think there’s always going to be struggles with maintaining a healthy figure, a lean figure, definitely for this role. But however, I think I’ve always kept the discipline with food and with working out. Lalo na ngayon, talagang sabay-sabay lahat. Pero of course, even if ganito yung lagay, I don’t forget din to take care of myself with rest,” she admitted. </p><p>Watch Reign in the eight-episode series <em>Love At First Spike</em>, directed by Ivan Andrew Payawal which will be streamed on iWantTFC.
