Kim Chiu greets Paulo Avelino as he turns 37: ‘Happy birthday boss’

<p>As Paulo Avelino turned 37 on Tuesday, May 13, Kim Chiu paid a birthday tribute for her love team partner through a series of Instagram stories.  </p><p>In the first two Instagram stories, Kim greeted Paulo whom she calls “boss” by posting solo photos of the latter.  </p><p>“Happy birthday boss @pauloavelino,” she captioned one of her Instagram stories. </p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/174718620838760df99dc-4232-4a23-953c-e5217832d367.jpg" style="width:500px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>In her third Instagram story, the actress described her on-screen partner in an informal yet thoughtful manner. Kim also shared some photos of them together in the same story.  </p><p>“BS in Nice, Major in Nonchalant. Graduate of Cool Without Trying. Peeebertday!!! @pauloavelino,” she wrote.  </p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17471862452471181c107-ada3-4097-8502-a8dc2558ffff.jpg" style="width:500px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>The <em>My Love Will Make You Disappear</em> star penned simple, yet meaningful birthday wishes for Paulo in her last Instagram story while sharing a photo of the latter with a big smile.  </p><div>“Wishing you many more birthdays, good health and smiles like this,” she expressed.  <img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1747186271247f04fdda9-0e56-4053-87c4-1f3a3ed62483.jpg" style="width:500px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>She concluded her birthday tribute for Paulo with a sweet reminder: “Enjoy your day boss @pauloavelino.”  </p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17471862896671a867edc-510e-495f-ba25-1350726a1fe6.jpg" style="width:500px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>Kim and Paulo, famously known as KimPau, achieved a great feat as their movie<em> My Love Will Make You Disappear,</em> which premiered last March 26, has continuously been making waves globally.  </p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/movies-series/2025/5/8/-my-love-will-make-you-disappear-rakes-in-p173m-worldwide-gross-1738"><strong><u>READ: &#x27;My Love Will Make You Disappear’ rakes in P173M worldwide gross</u></strong></a></div><p>The romantic comedy movie has garnered ₱173 million in worldwide gross as of May 7. </p><p>In an interview with ABS-CBN News at the victory and thanksgiving dinner for the movie’s recent achievement, Paulo revealed his birthday wish which he dedicated for the country’s greater good.  </p><p>“Wish ko talaga sana umunlad na ekonomiya ng Pilipinas,” he said.  </p><p>Kim also told ABS-CBN News her wish for her on-screen partner: “Siyempre good health, kasi mahaba pa &#x27;yung tatakbuhin ng buhay niya and happiness.” </p><p>The actress in the same interview admitted that she found it difficult to choose a gift for the actor: “Ang hirap kasi nito bigyan ng regalo!”   </p><p>Paulo, on the other, clarified that he is not fond of receiving gifts, especially material things.  </p><p>“Ayokong nireregaluhan ako kasi, ano eh, very specific &#x27;yung mga gusto ko sa buhay. &#x27;Yung mga kailangan ko lang &#x27;yung gusto ko.
