Jurassic Park star Sam Neill arrives in PH to film The Last Resort

Veteran actor Sam Neill, best known for his iconic role in Jurassic Park, has arrived in the Philippines to begin filming the Hollywood movie The Last Resort.The actor shared his enthusiasm about working on the project. &quot;It&#x27;s exciting. We don&#x27;t know what to expect, and yes it&#x27;s gonna be fun.&quot; he said in an interview with News5.Sam also mentioned that this is not his first time in the country. &quot;It’s the first time I&#x27;ve been here since 1976, so it’s a long time. She meets Ben (Alden Ehrenreich), a charming expat pilot who helps her rediscover freedom and love as she faces a choice between duty and desire.Donald Petrie, the director behind Miss Congeniality and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, is directing the movie. Karen McCullah, who wrote 10 Things I Hate About You and Legally Blonde, wrote the script.Manuel V. Pangilinan takes on the role of executive producer for the film, with production led by Ernesto &quot;Bong&quot; Sta. Maria Jr. and Raja Collins. Simon Heo, Akshay Mehta, and Rick Dugdale also join the team as co-producers.In a previous interview with MJ Marfori, lead star Alden Ehrenreich shared what fans can expect from The Last Resort, saying: &quot;I think it is really a fun movie. I think it is really smart. The writing is really fun. You get to see a lot of beautiful places in the Philippines. It has a lot to do with how wonderful the Philippines is and how wonderful the people are, and a lot of funny moments and romantic moments.&quot;He also emphasized that the film would showcase different locations and cultural aspects of the Philippines. &quot;We go to all these different islands, and talk a lot of different food, and you see different kind of dance performances and things that show the culture. You will see a really wonderful portrait of the Philippines through the film,&quot; he remarked.
