<p>After her international breakout role in the 2023 Hollywood film <em>Triangle of Sadness</em> which won her a best supporting award at the 48th Los Angeles Film Critics Awards, actress Dolly De Leon does the country proud once again in her first international series <em>Nine Perfect Strangers </em>where she plays the role of a former nun named Agnes. </p><p>“Sobra akoing na-excite, as in grabe. Yung honor na makakatrabaho ko si Nicole Kidman at saka yung ibang mga actors. That there is hope for them. I think that every person, at one point or another in their lives, has felt lost and not knowing who they are and not knowing what to do. Hopefully with this one, they come out with renewed hope. It’s a big dancing scene. Makikita niyo yan somewhere along the way pag pinanuod niyo. The most challenging scene is the scene where Agnes finally comes head to head with her crisis or the problem that she’s going through in her life at that moment. And I approach them looking starstruck. But then ang bilis maka-recover kasi sobrang bait nila eh. Sobrang down-to-earth nila na after a while, nagiging okay na ako. Nawawala na yung kaba ko!” she admitted. </p><p>Dolly also shared her experience working in foreign productions and what she hopes can be implemented in local showbiz someday. “How everyone on set feels safe. Na how everyone is well taken cared of. Each department has the right amount of people to be able to get the job done and how they really take care of their actors. We just go there and just have to worry about our performance and how we come in there with our lines. We come in there prepared and all of our needs are met. Everything is covered. We have nothing to worry about. That’s one wish that I have for us here in the Philippines and I think it’s doable. Puwede. Kaya naman natin yan,” she said. </p>
