Lovi Poe honors Gregoria De Jesus on 150th birth anniversary: 'Her story deserves to be remembered'

She played a critical role in the Philippine revolution, serving as the keeper of Katipunan secrets, the protector of vital documents, and even helping sew the first Katipunan flag alongside Benita Javier.</p><p>Her courage and devotion earned her the title “Lakambini” of the secret revolutionary society, where she provided safe haven and support to fellow revolutionaries.</p><p>After the tragic death of Andres, Gregoria found solace with then Katipunan commander Juan Nakpil and settled with six children.
