<p>Mikael Daez and Megan Young have welcomed their first child.</p><p>Mikael made the announcement on Wednesday, May 28, via social media. &quot;We&#x27;ve been waiting for 9 months... And now you&#x27;re here!&quot; the actor posted on Instagram.</p><p>In an intimate gender reveal party held earlier this year, the couple shared that they were expecting a boy.</p><p>The actor shared a clip documenting their journey for the past nine months until they welcomed their first baby. He also shared a glimpse of their baby through the Instagram video. </p><p>&quot;An explosion of overwhelming emotions 🥹 new chapter unlocked 🫶,&quot; he remarked.</p><p>Fans online were quick to react to Mikael&#x27;s announcement.</p><p>&quot;Congratulations 😍 we’re so happy for you guys,&quot; one fan commented.</p><p>&quot;So happy for you guys!!! Of course you shape them with discipline, etc. but their personality is something that’s just there,&quot; she relayed.</p><p>The actress also shared that she frequently thinks about her parenting style, especially as she comes across parenting tips on social media.</p><p>&quot;Parenting style is definitely something that I think about on a day-to-day basis especially when I scroll through TikTok and Instagram about tips here and there, so I think when the baby comes then we&#x27;ll have a better idea of how we want to do it. Basta meron tayong groundwork na masusundan and then we grow from there, okay na ako dun,&quot; she remarked.</p><p>Mikael further stressed the unpredictability of life, acknowledging that uncertainty will continue even after the arrival of their child, so he highlighted the importance of being flexible when it comes to parenting.</p><p>&quot;We&#x27;re in the middle of our lives and the whole time that I have been alive, everything has always been an unknown. Nothing is certain and that doesn&#x27;t really change when you have a child. It&#x27;s still all unknown, you don&#x27;t know how your child is going to grow up. You can hope to influence it, hope to do the right thing but ultimately, the answer is, I don&#x27;t know what is going to happen,&quot; he said.</p><p>The actor went on: &quot;We try our best, but we do not know and I&#x27;m okay with that. Parang I&#x27;ve come to accept na parang that&#x27;s what life is, and we make most out of the moments na you have presently, and for everything else moving forward you do your best and try to be flexible.&quot;</p>
