You’re taking me to lunch, right,” Sofronio shared.</p><p>Michael, who wanted to joke around with his mentee, playfully lied that he forgot his wallet so he couldn’t pay for their meal. While he was walking away from the camera, Sofronio spotted the Canadian singer’s wallet resting comfortably in his back pocket.  </p><p>The two laughed it off and went out for lunch together. When is your record coming out, Sofronio,” a fan asked.</p><p>“I love how you have genuine beautiful friendship on and off the show! What a true blessing you are to each other,” another fan added.</p><p>Sofronio previously made history after winning the 26th season of The Voice USA as he was the first Filipino and Asian to win the US-based singing competition. His life story was recently aired in the latest season of <em>Maalaala Mo Kaya </em>where actor Elijah Canlas played him. </p>
