<p><em>Grey&#x27;s Anatomy </em>star Sandra Oh can now officially call herself &quot;Doctor&quot; after receiving an honorary Doctor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College.</p><p>Taking to Instagram, the Emmy-nominated actress celebrated the milestone, saying: &quot;A Dr. for real reals!! (Okay, honorary) 🙏 @DartmouthCollege for letting me DANCE IT OUT w/ the Dartmouth Grads of &#x27;25 🎓 &amp; the privilege of giving this yrs Commencement Speech,&quot; she posted on her Instagram page to mark the milestone.</p><p>She went on: &quot;Thank you Evan Endicott my speech sherpa for your guidance and friendship, @ShondaRhimes (Greys Anatomy creator) for your creative sisterhood.&quot;</p><p>Sandra also congratulated the other recipients of the honorary degree. &quot;Congratulations to fellow honorands @MikaelaShiffrin, David Benioff, Judy Geer, Lynn Trujillo, Antonia Novello, and the Rev. It can be our greatest learning opportunity, and it is also inevitable,&quot; she remarked.</p><p>The actress went on: &quot;So if you can train yourself not to turn away but to learn how to be with your discomfort and trust that it might be telling you something you don&#x27;t yet know, it can help you develop an inner strength that will enable you to face the challenges life presents you without losing your values or your sense of self along the way.&quot;</p><p>Sandra also reflected on the power of kindness, describing it as a quiet yet transformative form of strength, especially in today’s uncertain times.</p><p>&quot;When I say kindness, I’m not talking about &#x27;being nice.&#x27; I’m talking about being able to hold your own heartbreak, so we can go on living -- go on resisting, go on building, go on healing. So we can meet cruelty again and again and not lose our humanity.&quot;</p><p>The actress described kindness as a foundation built on courage, respect, and compassion. &quot;It helps us get out of bed in the morning, it helps us to lead. It’s the opposite of weakness—it’s the foundation for a lasting strength,&quot; she remarked. </p>
