Management of Anne Curtis warns netizens of fake video

<p>Viva Artists Agency, the management of Kapamilya star Anne Curtis, warned fans and netizens of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) generated video of her circulating on social media. Viva maintained that she isn’t endorsing anything shared by the Facebook page.</p><p>“Please be informed that Anne is NOT connected in any way to the said Facebook page. The video is a DEEPFAKE, a product of AI (artificial intelligence), and was made without the consent of Anne nor of Viva,” they added.</p><p>Viva is set to hold those liable “to the maximum extent possible under the law” for the potential damage they could cause for Anne’s image to the public. </p><div><br/></div><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/celebrities/2025/5/26/anne-curtis-meets-korean-actress-song-hye-kyo-in-seoul-0957"><strong>READ: Anne Curtis meets Korean actress Song Hye-kyo in Seoul</strong></a></div><div><br/></div><p>“We do not condone such acts, and those found responsible shall be dealt with severely and held civilly and criminally liable to the maximum extent possible under the law,” Viva maintained. </p><p>Anne’s management advised her supporters to remain cautious of the AI video being circulated on social media to avoid the further spread of fake news to the public. </p><p>“We urge the public to be vigilant and discerning of online scams and illegal uses of AI to mislead and spread fake information,” the statement ended. </p><p>Meanwhile, Anne made her return to the noontime variety program <em>It’s Showtime</em> earlier this week to the delight of her fans. Her comeback made waves on social media and became a trending topic as fans haven’t seen her on the program for quite some time. </p>
