<p>After tying the knot with her long-time boyfriend, indie singer-rapper Curtismith last May 29 in Australia, Leila Alcasid shared in her social media post her thoughts on her nuptials.</p><p>Leila and Curtismith (real name Mito Fabie), who got engaged in September last year, had been dating since 2019. Their wedding ceremony was held at the Chiswick Restaurant Woollahra in  Sydney, Australia, and was attended by their closest family members like her father Ogie Alcasid and stepmom Regine Velasquez.</p><p>Leila is Ogie’s eldest daughter with ex-wife, former beauty queen Michelle van Eimeren. Truly was the best day of my life 🥺 I wanted to say a very special thank you to everyone that was a part of our day. My parents and I planned this by ourselves (mostly my mum), and I could not be more grateful to everybody that helped make it happen 🫶🏼 </p><p>&quot;To my mummy, @michellevaneimeren , and daddy @mark.morrow68 , thank you from the bottom of my heart. We love you!&quot;</p><p>Leila also thanked those who attended the intimate wedding ceremony. “To our families and friends, thank you for being there with us. One year later, she was officially signed under Star Music record label and released her first single &quot;Completely In Love&quot; the same year. Her father Ogie is also currently Leila’s talent manager under his talent management company A-Team PH.</p><p>In a previous interview with <strong>PUSH ABS-CBN</strong>, Leila shared that she considered herself very lucky to have two sets of parents in her life.</p><p>“I was very blessed from the beginning I don’t remember there being any time where my parents argued, from the very beginning they were always getting along. And I know a big factor was that they were doing that for me and my sister and now for my brother which is awesome. They were so selfless and they were able to put aside their differences and it created a very stable environment for me growing up because it meant that I got used to the idea of having four parents from a really young age. From seven or eight years old I never saw it that it was so sad that my parents didn’t live together, it was always like, ‘Wow I’m so lucky I have four parents,’” she said. </p>
