Pinoy Big Brother: Otso Big Winner Yamyam Gucong opened up about his journey as a father.In an interview on the Think Talk Tea podcast, Yamyam shared that he is now based in Cebu with his wife and their two children — his eldest is four years old and the other is just about to turn seven months old.Reflecting on his experience as a parent, Yamyam remarked: &quot;Sobrang napaka-intense din ng laban ng magka-kapamilya ka kasi ibang genre, kumbaga sa movie pa, ibang genre din &#x27;yun eh... Sakrisipsyo nandun &#x27;yun, pahabaan ng pasensya nandun &#x27;yun. Siyempre&#x27; yung thinking mo paano mo bubuhayin &#x27;yung pamilya ko in the future, &#x27;yung mga anak ko. &#x27;Yung pressure nandun &#x27;yun talaga. Sobrang napakamalaki-laking laban din,&quot; he stated.Despite the pressures of parenting, Yamyam said that being a father has given more meaning to his daily life. &quot;At the same time sobrang  napakamakabuluhan na &#x27;yung buhay mo &#x27;pag nagka-pamilya ka na, nagka-anak ka na. Bisaya [content] &#x27;yung goal namin kasi siyemre Bisaya din ako so parang gusto kong, kumbaga steppingstone ng mga Bisaya people ako until na makapasok sila sa mainstream TV. &#x27;Yung parang training ground,&quot; he relayed.When asked about returning to showbiz, Yamyam said he remains open to it. &quot;Gusto ko ulit i-try. Gusto ko ulit subukan... Kasi may pinanghahawakan akong excitement nga &#x27;yung parang every may kumontak sa akin [for work] nandun &#x27;yung excitement na hindi ko ma-explain,&quot; he said.Yamyam also expressed his interest in pursuing comedy and hosting in the future. &quot;Actually ang pinaka-main ko talagang gustong gawin ay maging komedyante,&quot; he relayed. &quot;At tsaka gusto ko rin i-try &#x27;yung hosting kasi nakikita ko, kasi inspirasyon ko talaga si ate Melai (Cantiveros) in terms of acting and hosting sobrang [idol]. Ate Melai sobrang idol talaga kita. Nakikita ko pa lang, as a viewer pa lang ako dati, sobrang idol ko na talaga siya, &#x27;yung personality and everything,&quot; he stated.
