Kyle Echarri talks about new investment, how he handles his finances wisely

<p>Kapamilya star Kyle Echarri knows how to value the fruits of his own labor, and one solid proof of that is his newest investment.  </p><p> During his recent guest appearance on Jodi Sta. Maria’s <em>Let’s Drink to That</em> podcast, Kyle delightedly talked about a new lot that he acquired somewhere in the South.</p><div><a href="https://youtu.be/nkKpBnBh0KA?si=MeqyBYyb-AN708N9"> <iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/nkKpBnBh0KA" title="LET&#x27;S DRINK TO THAT Ep20: Kyle Echarri’s Story Behind the Spotlight | The JSM Channel" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></a></div><p> The singer-turned-actor did not disclose where it was exactly located, but he said that part of his dream is to build a house and move there in the future.  </p><p> “I see myself moving there in the future, pero lupa pa lang naman po siya. Met a lot of people who show me what they are doing in their life without telling me what to do,” he said.  </p><p>How does Kyle manage his own money?</p><p>“What I’ve always been doing po for myself is kunwari may check ako, darating po ang tseke, ang kukunin ko lang po sa tseke na ‘yun is 10%. I only get 10% for my personal [expenses] and the rest goes to savings and then land banking,” he revealed. </p><p>Sharing what he learned from his dad and his friends in the entertainment industry, he said: “It’s also not advisable to leave money in the bank kasi sila lang naman ang gumagalaw ng pera natin. So as much as possible, make your investment here and there.” </p><p>When asked about an ambition he still wishes to fulfill, Kyle mentioned dreams of having his own house in Spain, particularly in San Sebastian where his roots are.  </p><p>It can be recalled that Kyle went on a solo trip to San Sebastian in 2024 to meet his paternal relatives for the first time as a birthday gift for himself. </p><div><br/></div><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/2024/10/14/look-kyle-echarri-goes-to-spain-to-meet-relatives-1118"><strong>READ: LOOK: Kyle Echarri goes to Spain to meet relatives</strong></a></div><div><br/></div><p> In the sit-down conversation with Jodi and two of her friends, AC Soriano and Cheena Crab, Kyle recounted the experience, which he revealed also helped in coping with the loss of his little sister.  </p><div> </div><p>“It was a birthday gift po para sa sarili ko kasi gusto kong siyempre sa nangyari, going back to what happened to my little sister, I kinda wanted to find a way to get my mind off of things. I really let it sink in kung anong nangyayari sa akin last year. Last year was a big year for me, both up and down,” he said.  </p><p> He continued, “So ang ginawa ko po talaga, I went to Spain, I contacted my family na hindi pa na-meet ng Papa ko actually. His cousins, I got to spend time with them. I got to have good heart-to-heart talks with my cousins and just got to immerse myself in a different world for a change. Parang ‘yun ‘yung gusto ko para sa birthday ko nun.”</p>
